Based on a previous picture of mine called “Day of the Lure”. Guess what; the lure worked!

Now the bride is giving her beloved some quiet advice, such as “Just smile and they won’t eat you!” and “If they don’t think you’re good enough for me you’re always good enough for a stew!”. He’s holding up just fine, especially considering that his mother-in-law keeps feeding her daughter recipes while his father-in-law keeps talking about all the less favorable family defects that better no not show up in any of their future grandchildren next spring. Lucky for him he can’t understand grandma and grandpa troll. That’d make him panic for sure…

This is hilarious! I love it...1 And I have to say, you have quite a talent for writing funny captions.

It´s great how they are in different stages of troll/human race mix. Such a cute guy, I´m sure she will take good care of him.

Hehe, are we gonna get to see what happens next spring? Or maybe how the young bride looks a little while before next spring? ^_-

This it really nice! I bet they will be a happy couple, even though the parents look a bit... rough around the edges. 1

@ Nielsdejong:

Agreed. She looks fairly muscular in this picture, while in Day of the Lure, her figure was closer to that of a typical human female. Still a great piece of artwork though 12

I really like the artwork, but i REALLY dislike the troll’s attitude. The guy willingly went with the troll lady, he seems like a nice guy, and he’s probably good-hearted to help out the trolless with her quest (with maybe just a bit of selfish motives 12 ), and they’re all like "If they don’t think you’re good enough for me you’re always good enough for a stew!" (and the mother keeps feeding the daughter recipes. The hell?) If he wasn’t good enough, why did the father let the daughter pick him in the first place? And they need him way more than he needs them.

What a bunch of jerks...

Well, on the upside, the guys troll wife is easy on the eyes, concerned for his well being and not too long after this they’ll have consummated their union by bumping uglies and making babies. And who knows, with a human in the family he might introduce them to the ample surplus that comes from eating cattle as opposed to people.

So what is the Bard going to say when he finds out his brother got a troll first?

Sheesh, that’s SOME pressure! Is living with HIS parents really out of the question? Like me, you’re Scandinavian, so you should know that when a hulderfolk" girl seduced a human guy, she often ended up living with him.
